Designing this Venice Island vacation rental was all about balance ~ blending personality with family-friendly function.

 

The homeowners came to us with a clear vision: a navy and white palette with bursts of bold bougainvillea-pink, a masculine coastal aesthetic, and a layout that works just as well for cocktail hour as it does for kids’ bedtime routines.

 

We embraced existing features like the sleek, newly remodeled kitchen, the wet bar, and a murphy bed in the guest room ~ designing around them with intention. A serene workspace was carved out in the guest room with calming textures and soft light, while the open-concept living area became the heart of the home.

 

The living room is layered with crisp textiles, coastal woods, and playful touches found in artwork and accessories. This main space is adjoined by ample dining space featuring both table and bar seating. Outside, is an effortless entertaining zone ~ perfect for long pool days and al fresco dining. 

 

Every space was infused with personality while keeping comfort front and center, proving that great design doesn’t always mean starting from scratch ~ sometimes it means starting with what works and creating something even better.
