Located within a coveted new gated resort-style community near Manasota Key, Florida, Blue Heron Haus went from builder grade to custom home and came out the other side a true retreat ~ equally suited as a primary or vacation home. Just minutes from some of the top beaches on Florida's Gulf Coast, this home called for a palette as calm and clean as the water nearby.

We chose silvery and seaglass tones set against a crisp white backdrop, creating a soothing, clean aesthetic throughout. Two complementary wallpapers were selected to break up the home's long foyer hallway, and custom drapery was added throughout to soften and finish every room.

This home is a masterclass in multi-use furniture and creative problem solving. The flex room became a den that converts effortlessly into a guest room, thanks to an unsuspecting sleeper sofa. In the dining room, we combined two small bar cabinets to create an impressive louvered buffet, and in the living room, a pair of arched cabinets became the focal point ~ the perfect spot for displaying family photographs and sentimental treasures.

The primary suite is one of our favorite spaces in the home. A serene oasis complete with a dedicated reading chair, white sheer curtains, and a plush upholstered bed finished with custom throw pillows, this resort-like retreat is the ultimate spot to unwind.
