Surf Bungalow

Standing tall, amid the salt and sand, is a stilted Beach Haus sensation! Surf the lovely gallery encapsulating the beauty of this beachside Bungalow.

This project was a new build on a barrier island. Brand new construction of a family centric home meant an all encompassing project geared towards luxury and livability.

The installation of luxury vinyl plank flooring was implemented to fight the salt air and sand. This client wanted to lean into traditional beachy teals. The spacious entry way exhibits high ceilings, an open staircase, and fresh white shiplap walls. In addition to the shiplap stairway, LVP wood treads were used to create contrast.

For an aesthetic and durable surface, Radianz quartz counters were selected for the kitchen. The shiplap island and white shaker cabinets were selected to allow the unique iridescent glass tiles to reflect shades of teal, seaglass, and opal tones without contrast.

In the living room is a custom painted plank wall full of teals and sandy hues. Additionally, the outdoor dining table consists of the same custom paint colors and materials. The powder bath features a faux grasscloth textured wallpaper.

The second floor loft contains two bedrooms with barn doors to each room. There is a shared sitting area adjacent to the bedrooms that leads to a private balcony.

The master bathroom ties in a lovely combination of elements from other areas in the house including; white shiplap walls, iridescent teal tile, and capiz mirror.
